Jo Sugar has had a passion for making people beautiful from an early age and studied beauty therapy upon leaving school, supported by skin care brands like, Dermalogica, DHC and One Skin she feels that skin care is the foundation to great makeup. She has worked closely with some of the top names in the beauty industry, including TV presenters and celebrity stylists Brendan Courtney (The Clothes Show) and Nick Ede (Project Catwalk), Desmond Murray (4 times British hair awards winner and member of The Hall of Fame) and Toni & Guy. Jo decided to focus her passion in celebrity, fashion, music and TV make-up.\u00a0<\/p>

From the world of fashion to the world of media, Jo Sugar has a client list that reads like a celebrity who’s who. With clients such as Serena Williams, Petra Nemcova and Charlotte Church, Jo is one of the most sought after make-up artists in the country. She is also a sought after educator lecturing at various events and seminars throughout the year for companies like Kryolan and IMATS and is the European trainer for LA based airbrush company Dinair, Most recently she is the brand ambassador for Japanese airbrush company Mineral Air. She is a regular at London Fashion Week, heading her own shows each season. As well as studio shoots, Jo is as comfortable on location having traveled to work in LA, St Tropez, Germany, Paris, Poland, Iceland, Ireland, Albania, Milan and Marbella.\u00a0<\/p>

Jo Sugar has over 20 years experience in the industry, she designed the makeup for \u2018The Songbook of Judy Garland\u2019 a national show and is personal makeup artist to Lorna Luft, The legendary Judy Garland\u2019s daughter. She is also the head makeup artist and co wrote the book \u2018 The Rogues Gallery: Creation of a Super-Villain\u2019. Jo says ‘I love variety, every job is different, you never stop learning’. Aside from making the rich and famous look beautiful, Jo can equally turn heads with her stylistic visions, and leading the way in future trends. She has given numerous styling tips to leading magazines and contributed to industry educational books. Jo is the fashion and beauty editor for Modern Woman Magazine.<\/p>
